Sasya's Sketches - #33

I thought I would do Sasya's sketch again this week as I really enjoy them. I even broke out my Basic Grey stickers which I normally hoard lol and used the teapot. I used the matching paper line to go with the stickers, as well as the stamp set and some broderie lace from Websters Pages and one of my handmade flowers. I used SU Chocolate Chip cardstock which I just love and Early Exspresso ink pad which is fast becoming a favourite of mine.

Below is the sketch we were to follow. . . .

Okay everyone that is it for me I am being called to dinner lol. Until next time.

Card Patterns - #86

Well after a few days of having no internet due to problems with my router I am now back online. I am hoping that it is for good but will get my daughters partner to have a look at it tomorrow just in case. I did this challenge last night but could not load it up which is why I am late lol. I followed the sketch from Card Patterns this week and below is my finished Halloween card.

Below is the sketch we were to follow this week. . . .

Welcome to the World Ryan Max Grant

Well girls this was a special day today which is Monday the 18th October, 2010 because it is the day that my fourth grandbaby was born. We were up at the hospital for Ashleigh to be induced at 7am this morning as requested by her doctor. The doctor broke her waters but nothing came out until she stood about an hour later and Michael (her partner) and I made her laugh hehehehe. Then the floodgates opened. From that moment on there was no respite from the pain until Master Ryan Max grant was born at 10.50am this morning weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 15ozs, he measured 81cms in length which is 32 1/4 inches long with a head circumference of 38 cms which is 15 1/4 inches. He is a beautiful beautiful boy and we are all thrilled. So without further ado here is my fourth grandbaby. . . .

Okay Nannie is off to have a well earned nanna nap.

This could be baby news!!

Hi everyone. We have had false alarms and false alarms and now we are nearly two weeks overdue for our fourth grandbaby. I just got a phone call from Ash saying could they bring Soph over as the pains are pretty constant so things may be moving along. Fingers and toes crossed for us okay? I am off to the hospital as my girl wants her mum in the labour ward with her along with her partner Michael. She would love her sister with her too but her sister will be holding down the fort with Soph and her own two little ones.
If my little grandson Ryan chooses to arrive tonight I promise a pic tomorrow on my blog. For now I am off to the hospital for the serious part of the whole business lol.

Technostamper #142

I have another post so make sure you check out the post below this one to see what else I have made today. This card is for the Technostamper challenge blog. I enjoy these sketches as you can either make them clean and simple or more involved which is what I normally love to do. I won a Top 3 blinkie the other week playing along with these sketches. So why not pop on over and play along you just never know.

This is my card that fits the above sketch. I hope you enjoy it and if you would like to know the details please leave a comment.

Sasya's Sketchs #31

Well here we are again with another challenge. I am enjoying Sasya's sketches a whole lot. Sasya does exciting and challenging sketches which make you think before you plow right in to create your card.

My card this week is a Halloween card again lol and I used my Cricut and my October 31st cartridge to cut the cobweb and then brushed over it with Stampin' Up! Shimmer Paint in Frost White to give that spooky look to the web. I love how it turned out. I bought these cheap plastic spiders down at Spotlight and glued one of them onto the web. If you would like to know what the DSP is please leave a comment and I will get right back to you. I also turned the sketch on its side so I could use the image that I used.

Ooooh I just love Halloween ROTFLOL. I have another card to post later on.

Skipping Stones Designs

Hi everyone. Well it was a long weekend for us here in Australia and I spent the day creating my clinic room for my therapeutic massage business with my bestie Sonya. It looks fabulous and if Son had not nagged me to do it, it would still not be done ROTFLOL so many thanks Son, we did good. I went over to Karen Giron's blog today to see what the challenge was and Karen has been selected to be a guest designer for October on Skipping Stones Design blog using one of her own sketches this week. So I thought I would join in but they have not put the challenge up yet I jumped ahead of myself, but I did the card anyway so I will link up with them tomorrow perhaps. I used all Stampin' Up! supplies which included the brand new colour Early Expresso and can I say what a rich chocolate colour it is!!! It is so very yummy! I think I will be using it a whole lot over the coming months hehe. I also used Greenhouse Gala one of the new DSP collections from the new catalogue and of course my beautiful vintage brads which I cannot leave alone. I think I will be going through heaps of these in the coming year.

Okay, okay I'll get on with it hehe. Below is my card that I created. . . .

Below is the stamp set that I used with the stamp pads and the DSP collection.

Well until tomorrow when I will probably be back with another something to share with you. I hope you are all enjoying the extra daylight here in Australia.

Another challenge from Creations With Christina

This is the second challenge for Creations With Christina and it will be the last one for me as I am going to bed now lol. The challenge was to make your card predominately pink. I think I managed that hehehehe. All my supplies are SU except for the pink bling and the ribbon. The DSP is retired but I still love it.

Okay have fun with Christina today/tonight. I cannot keep my eyes open anymore.

Creations With Christina & World Cardmaking Day 2010

I did not want to go to bed tonight until I had taken part in Christina's World Cardmaking Day challenges which will be running every hour on the hour from 10am until 5pm US EST and for us here in Australia at the moment it is 12.33am on Sunday morning lol. I was dozing off prior to making this card while I was waiting for it to start and I thought one card then bed. But now I might wait for the next one lol and then perhaps go to bed.
The first card is a sketch which is below. . . .

This is my take on the above sketch. . . .

I have used all SU cardstock and Oval All stamp set and Soft Suede ink pad and Oval and Scallop Oval punches. The flower and DSP are other brands and if you would like that info please leave a message and I will get back to you.
