365 Cards - #157 - Imagine This - Sunflowers

Okay so today over at 365 Cards the challenge was Sunflowers!!!!! Now as you can see by my first pic I had many to choose from. I have a whole heap of them from my ancient stash as both my daughters when they were young loved sunflowers hence I had lots. The one I actually chose to use was from 1992 so she's an oldie but a goodie as they say. I have Hero Arts stamps there, a Penny Black, a couple of PSX and I forget what the roller one is. I chose to use watercolour paper from my watercolour pad again from my old stash as I went to watercolour classes quite a few years ago now and I still have oodles of watercolour paper. The only SU thing on my card is the black brads and the markers for colouring. The rest is unknown brand stuff from my stash.

I hope you enjoy my card today because I really enjoyed colouring it even if I am a bit rusty! Oh before I go I know I have received quite a few lovely awards from some beautiful women in the last week and I promise I will do a special post tomorrow about them all and nominate etc. Rose I promise I won't forget and thankyou all who gave me those awards *big smile*
In the meantime. . .
Walk about your day with beauty.
The Gypsy

Supplies: SU Brads and Markers. Co'Ordinations textured cardstock in mustard. Ribbon unknown. Black cardstock also unknown. Ranger Distress Ink for the edging of the watercolour paper.

Michelle, fabulous card. You need to colour more often. You weren't kidding about having a few sunflower stamps were you. I think I used to have some, but must have got rid of them.

Fantastic card Michelle, LOL I have 2 of the stamps that you have and I had stamped the one you used and then decided on something different.
Love your layout of the card and your colouring of the sunflower. Thank you for all of your well wishes, I had the dreaded flu for about 4 weeks and then DD and DH has had it as well - so it has been one sick household here. On a brighter note at the end of the month I am off to an Aussie Cricut Swarm in Mackay - I should have invited you a few weeks back - I only found out I could go about a week ago so I am excited.
Hugs
Fi

8? I don't have one! Guess I'm a loser cause I don't have any animal stamps and not very good at coloring either! Anywho, your card is beautiful and the coloring --even if you are rusty-- is great!

Wonderful image and card. The ribbon is fantastic. Isn't great to pull out old stamps and remember how great they are.
