365 Cards - #180 - Going Vintage

Today is my day over at 365 Cards as it is all about Going Vintage!!! As soon as I saw it I went straight to my work desk and got to it. The designer paper I used for the scalloped edging and the background was from a new pack that I got on Monday from my bestie Sonya. . .Hi Love!! It is from Grant Archival and it is the Vintage Collection. I love it. The image itself is from some vintage paper that my daughter had in her stash and then passed it along to me so it has been here for a while lol and today she came out so too speak hehehe. I used this crocheted lace that I bought from a market some time ago which when you pull a thread it actually gathers. . .cool!! So I made my flower out of it with one of my vintage pearl buttons in the centre. The textured cardstock is using one of the new Cuttlebug Folders - Victorian and that is that my friends!

I cannot believe I finished my card this early in the evening as it is only 4.45pm here in Australia and I only saw the challenge at 3.50pm so not bad going lol.
In the meantime. . . .
Walk about your day with beauty.
The Gypsy

Supplies: SU Certainly Celery cardstock. SU Eyelet Border punch. DCWV textured paper. Grant Archival Vintage collection paper pack. Lace, button and image from my stash. Cuttlebug Victorian embossing folder. Ranger Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain distress inks.

Great card! The lace flower you made is very pretty. The distressing really adds to the whole card. I love vintage, I posted 2 vintage cards this week and now have to do another one. LOL
