365 Cards - #303 - With A Flourish

Well Bloggers here I am finally doing a card after such a long while. I have been so busy doing other things like getting christmas orders completed and sent out and making a mini album for my first mini album swap. . . .which was so exciting to be involved in and I received mine but cannot post about it or post pics of mine until the recipient receives hers in the mail lol. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas as did I. I got the best pressie of all time which was a video camera from my man and my youngest daughter so that I can start making you tube videos on tutorials etc. I have to say though I have done a couple of practise runs and I gotta say I sound like a bit of a dick (sorry but the only word that fitted lol) so I deleted them but will keep practising until I am happy with the outcome and then I will upload them.

Today over at 365 Cards Pam has asked that our card include 3 flourishes and they can be stamped, rub-ons, patterned paper etc. Two weeks ago I received in the mail from a lovely chick down in Adelaide a bag of Top Note die cuts from SU which is not available yet in Australia but will be next year. . . .yay!!!! Mel bought hers on E Bay and posted one of each cardstock colour that SU has to me. Is that not the nicest thing girls? Mel also sent me so many different brads that I thought it was christmas (which it was) and then the very next week she sent me another parcel which was so full to the brim of all sorts of scrapbooking goodies and I was totally blown away by her generosity. . . . thanks so much Mel. So I had to make use of them and use one in my first card for a while today. I have two stamped flourishes and two die cut flourishes on my card so I have four in total just to cover myself hehehe.

Okay girls that is all from me today. I am now going to read a bit of my christmas book that I got from my daughter and son in law, which is Matthew Reilly's newest book which I have been waiting for, for two years. It is non stoppable action packed reading and I cannot put it down.
In the meantime. . . .
Walk about your day with beauty.
The Gypsy

I am so glad to see you back! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! This is a beautiful card, I love the flourish on the die. I now have an idea as I made a card earlier but scrapped it.

OMG you're alive! LOL hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I love your card and you are the lucky bugga to get the top note die cuts early :) TFS

PS...I have tried to upload videos to you tube but they were taking "forever" so I gave up. Look forward to seeing yours!

Can't wait for your You Tube debut! It will be fun putting a voice with your face! Hope you have time soon to get in touch with Suzanne - she's looking forward to hearing from another Australian that's into papercrafting! Take care, my friend!
