365 Cards - 154 - Trains, Planes & Automobiles

Well ladies and quite possibly gents, today is the last day of Reader Appreciation Week over at 365 Cards and guess who it is. . . Yep IT'S ME!!!! I was tickled pink when Pam asked me ages ago if I wanted to be a guest designer for the blog and did not even have to hesitate but said yes immediately. . . I Mean, come on who wouldn't jump at the chance. I am honoured that Vicky chose me to take the front and centre spot today, thankyou Vicky for your beautiful words and right back at you. I feel the same way actually. . .funny that lol!!!

My card today was a bit of a worry at the time Pam told me what it was going to be I thought hell I don't have any plane stamps or trains or cars for that matter. I went into the little town where I live and looked in the craft shop and could not find anything and I asked the lady there and she said the only thing I have is this paper set. It was a plain cream with the train in the corner and I said that is perfect is will fit with a vintage sytle card and so here it is. I cut it off the paper and popped it off the card, distressing the edges the background designer paper is from the same set and has train tracks all over it, so I had to have that one as well. The two buttons were clear so I used Glossy Accents to adhere them to the same cream paper that the train came from. The stamp in the background is and yes you guessed right again a Tim Holtz stamp (my hero) from the same set that I used on my card last night, as is the diamond stamp on the other side. The vacation sentiment and the letters with pen are stickers from that same shop. I really like how this card turned out and I hope you all like it as well.
In the meantime. . .
Walk about your day with beauty.
The Gypsy

Supplies: SU Blue Bayou cardstock. The designer papers are from Far and Away - Trains, Planes and Automobiles. The stickers are American Traditional Designs. Tim Holtz stamp set, Ranger Distress Inks, Buttons from my stash. SU Hemp twine.
