PLAID. . .PLAID You say!!!! Hell I don't have any plaid lol. It's not a common one for Australia, back me up Fi!!! I was a desperate woman. I searched high and low for something that would resemble PLAID!!! I sat at my work station sulking %$#*& PLAID. I folded my arms and said to my husband I'm not doing it. His response was "Well Shell, you not up for the challenge hey?" It was like waving a red rag to a bull hehehe. I sat for a while longer wondering what I was going to do and I glanced over at my watercolour pad then glanced at my Derwents and Eureka!!!!! A lightbulb moment for sure. I would make my own PLAID! It's not very good PLAID but it will pass muster. I couldn't even manage to rule the lines straight lol but I completed the challenge. . .day 80 DONE! Have mercy on me it's late at night over here.
But in the meantime. . .
Walk about your day with beauty.

Love that born plaid and the tree. Very Beautiful.
Lol! Love that! It makes it so much more original that you made it yourself, very creative!
Michelle you always crack me up!!! I am glad your hubby motivated you into this challenge. I think you did quite well with the plaid background. Great job with this challenge and good luck with getting this week's challenges done. I'm pulling for ya...lol.

Fab job with the challenge your homemade plaid is PERFECT!
Great take on the challenge. I had to think too where to find plaid and then I recalled some ribbon I got on a gift. This was a challenge indeed-You did a great job
Michelle, I absolutely love your PLAID. At least you can draw it. I almost had to either go to the store or GOOGLE an image of it.
It's just perfect! Luv the colors you used!
Peace and Luv,

how fantastic you made your own plaid!!! the card is stunning :D and kudos to your hubby for waving the red rag today!! LOL I know what you mean about challenging....I think I'm starting to get scarred each day as to what Pam has for us (well in a good way of course!) can you just imagiane what she has in mind for day 200?? ;)
LOL - you crack me up - the only reason I had plaid was because it came in the Sweet Stack from DCWV. Sometimes the DH's just know what to say don't they. I love your card and a perfect sentiment for you to put on your card today(hehehe). You could not tell the plaid was hand made - fantastic job. Good luck with your challenges this week - I am looking forward to see more of your bird images that I would just love to have.
Lots of hugs for you today.
