365 Cards - #92 Super Sketchy Sunday

Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards today and the layout was this. . .

And this is what I created based on that sketch.  I finally played with my new Cricut cartridge which is Storybook and I think I am in love lol.  It does sooooo much!!  When I cut the owl out and put it together I placed it on the card and then decided that the owl had to be a girl so a piece of coloured cord had to go on to achieve the girl look hehehe.  Oh I am going to have so much fun with this cartridge and the other one I got from my youngest daughter was Hello Kitty.  So now my total amount of cartridges is 3.  They are so expensive here I cannot afford to buy too many.  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend ours is over here in Australia as it is now Sunday night at approximately 11.01pm as I type this post.  But next weekend is the Queens birthday weekend so we get a long weekend yay!! That will mean possibly another day down at stamp camp depending on whether my daughter Courtney can get the extra day away from the children. . .fingers crossed.
Well that is it for this evening so . . .
In the meantime. . .
Walk about your day with beauty.

Michelle ~ Well OWL be. Love your card and great minds think alike. I will have to look for that cartridge with the owl. I too only own 3 I buy them while on sale because I refuse to pay the normal $89 price here. I think the most I have paid for one is $30 with shipping.

Now how cute is this!! I can see why you're in love - that little owl is just too sweet - and I LOVE how you decided to make it a girl :). I know what you mean about the cricut cartridges - they're expensive here too! It's been a long time since I bought one because of that!

Whoo Hoo - that is so cute Michelle, I am back in the world of blog and card making - yippee. I think - no I know I have withdrawals. Thank you for your concern and comments on my blog, I was sick and then I had to get ready to go away for the weekend - for the first time in 3 years, we went to Noosaville and it was very nice and of course I went to a couple of scrapooking shops while I was there and brought a few more stamps and more paper - LOL. Don't you just love the Storybook cart and you are right they are sooooo expensive in Australia, I buy mine from Hallmarkscapbook.com, I found them to be very cheap and you can have 2 carts posted in a bag for $13. I also purchased my Nesties from America - Memorymiser.com for $53 a set of 4 - bargain - in Australia you pay $55 and up for 1 part of a set. I hope to be able to get back into my craft room today or tonight to make some cards.
Hugs
