365 Cards - #122 It's A Wrap

Well today over at 365 Cards the challenge that Pam set for us was to use a wrapping paper on your card. Now I gotta say that I may have cheated on this a little as I am staying with my Mum and she is housesitting for friends so I did not want to ruffle through their belongings to find some wrapping paper so today while at the LSS I bought this one piece of paper with no name on it but I loved it because of the pattern and the colours and to me it looks a bit like wrapping paper so I used it and that is how I cheated. . .not intentionally but through necessity. So there you have it my card for today.

365 Cards - #121 Four Seasons

I am here with Mum and there is an internet connection so I am as happy as can be!! The challenge over at 365 Cards today was to have four seasons or a representative of each season on your card but all four must be there. I have been racking my brain as to what I was going to do as I did bring a lot but obviously not enough to complete this challenge . . . . . . or so I thought!! In my rub ons I found a pack of Kaisercraft rub ons that had all the months of the year plus the four seasons (in words) with little pics of each season and I thought EUREKA I HAVE STRUCK GOLD. But when I finished it I am not sure if I like it or not but I have limited embellishments with me until tomorrow that is when I take Mum over to Lismore to the doctor and there is a fantastic stamp and scrapbooking store there which I will happen to fall into lol. Send a search party if I am missing for too long ok!!!!

I'm sorry if the pic takes a while to load but I did not have Photo Shop to shrink it down so I had to make do. I am off to bed now.

365 Cards - #120 Super Sketchy Sunday

Today Blogger was being a butt munch so I really didn't want to wait to load and re-load and re-load the sketch as well as that is what I had to do for my cards and I just got sick of waiting for it lol. Today it is Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards and you have to visualise the sketch ok!! My card is the duplicate of the sketch so you won't have to visualise too much hehehe. I am loving my damask stamp so much lately from SU Friends 24-7 stamp set. It gets more use than anything else I've got lol. My embellishment on the side of the card has one of my treasured Idealology Fragments that I won from Tim Holtz a couple of months ago, like the paper I have to let go of stuff but I'm with Gloria it is difficult to do most times. I just wanna keep all my Tim Holtz stuff I won to look at and say how pretty it is, that's all! Tomorrow I am off to look after my Mum as she is not too well at the moment and she is house sitting for a friend so she is on her own. She is a bit fragile my Mum so she needs looking after. Where she is does not have a computer *loud gasp* so Ash has let me take her laptop but I still have to get a connection so if I do I do and if not I will have to play catch up when I get home on Thursday night. Now if I don't get on don't you all play up on Pam lol I don't want to miss the fun. . . please hang out until I get back lol.

This second card was an order that my bestie wanted made for her friend Vicki and she loves Victorian era, so I think I managed something from that era lol. I love it that's all I know!! Again with the Damask.

That is it for me so until next time. . .

365 Cards - #119 Seeing A Silhouette

Over on 365 Cards today the challenge was to create a silhouette of your image and it might require some fussy cutting or colouring of your image. I wasn't going to do this one today as I did not have an image that I was happy to do in a silhouette image. I sat looking at other entries and decided to give it a go Pam was not going to beat me lol. The only image I was happy to do for this challenge was the bird on a branch from SU - Friends 24-7. I also adore the damask stamp from this set and use it a lot on other projects especially when doing journals. On this card I chose to stamp it in black on the Pink Pirouette cardstock and I love how it turned out. So here is my card for today. . .

That is all I am capable of producing tonight as this flu will not leave and I am sick of feeling woozy and headachy and sniffley but ya know what makes a girl feel better . . .yes sir, creating a card!!

2 Sketches For You - Kazan's Sketch #29 and Paper Blooms - Be Inspired

I thought I would expand my horizons a bit and enter a few more challenges and I love the cards that are shown on 2 Sketches 4 You and have been a lurker on their blog for quite a while now and decided to jump in with both feet. The sketch to follow was by Kazan this week.
This card also fits the Paper Blooms challenge this week as it is to be inspired and the designer paper on my card has been calling my name for months and months in my stash and I kept saving it for a special occasion lol but I thought it was no good sitting in my stash and I am going to use it now. I absolutely love this paper and I wish I had more of it but I only have one sheet as that was all that was available at the time of purchase.

This paper is so lovely and it is one by Daisy D. Well that is it for me tonight.

365 Cards - #118 I've Been Framed

Well there was much excitement over at 365 Cards yesterday over who was following rules and who wasn't, but it was all in good fun and that's what this is all about ladies good clean fun!! I so enjoy the comrarderie of everyone on this challenge blog, it's warm, friendly and inviting. Thanks girls for creating a space where everyone feels comfortable. Today the challenge was to create a frame on your card. . .that's it! Otherwise anything goes. You don't have to tell me twice. So I decided to use my Storybook cartridge in my Cricut for the frame and the wording lol and all I had to do was add a flower and it was a done deal. However I did use my Cuttlebug for the white cardstock and used the Swiss Dots EF which is my absolute favourite.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else's interpretation is of this challenge.

Polkadoodles Challenge #5 or #6 (not sure)

I decided to spread my wings and enter some more challenges just to keep my hand in and it is always good to try new things isn't it?? Eveyone nod your head yes!! The Polka Doodles challenge blog had a sketch to follow this week but there were other rules as well. . . it had to be landscape, you could not have real ribbon only paper ribbon, you had to colour the image yourself - it could either be a stamped image or a topper and you could use whatever you liked to colour the image with. I pretty much stuck to the challenge with it all including paper ribbon not fabric, although I did not have any paper ribbon so I made some myself using the same cardstock as it had a white core and my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots EF and then sanded the dots to show the white. . .made it look like polka dotted ribbon.

Well I hope you like it.

365 Cards - #117 Simply Stamped

Today over at 365 Cards the challenge is for one stamped image and one stamped sentiment - that's it!! You can colour in the image and use any of the coloured cardstock but no designer paper and no other embellishments. I thought that would be a snap to do and it was! I didn't even have to think about it but once I have loaded this little baby up I am adding stuff to it like crazy lol. I showed two images of my card to see if it got any different with the next pic. . . but it didn't lol. So here it is in all its simple glory!

365 Cards - #116 Keep It To Yourself - Wedding Card

Today over at 365 Cards the challenge is Keep It To Yourself Wedding Card, the message should be clear without the sentiment that is in in actual fact a wedding card. Well I had this pair of love doves from my ancient stash (again) which I used to use for wedding cards years and years ago so I thought it would be quite clear what they meant, but then I decided to put a rub on in the top right corner just to be certain without giving it away completely. The cards has only two colours and I like that.

That's it for me tonight. . .short and sweet.

365 Cards - #115 Piece It Together

Sherry says it is soooo hot where she is and I am sitting in front of a heater with a shawl around my shoulders cause it is cold here!!! We are in our first month of winter. The challenge today over at 365 Cards was to Piece It Together where we had to paper piece our design. I went through my stamps and came up with this old beauty from my ancient stash and decided to use it. I don't have a lot of stamps that I felt like I wanted to paper piece them hehehe and maybe I just wanted something easy to cut out hehe that is more like it. We went down to Armidale on a road trip today which is 1 1/2 hours away and did some shopping. I finally found the DCWV Once Upon A Time paper stack and quickly grabbed it off the shelf. . .doing the happy dance all the way to the car and embarrassing my daughter Ashleigh while I was doing it and because it embarrassed her what did I do. . .did it some more!!! OOOhhhhh I am evil to my girls lol.
The designer paper I used here is a deceased paper set from Stampin' Up! that I got off a friend on my stamp camp, she gave me so many papers and I just love looking through them. This paper is not one I would have purchased while it was in therefore it was good to have single sheets of things like that. The orange centre of the heart is the flip side of the polka dot paper and I decided to stamp my bow on that as well. I used a Build A Brad from SU in the centre of the flower using the polka dot paper as well. I don't love this card but I don't hate it either. That is it for me tonight.

365 Cards - #114 Lovin' Lavender

Well you all know I love any shade of purple so I was doing the happy dance tonight when I saw the challenge over at 365 Cards whereby lavender had to be the dominant colour so I think I achieved that one. I have had this piece of DCWV paper from Once Upon A Time paper stack which my daughter gave me ages ago and tonight seemed like the perfect time to put it to use. Once I decided to use it then the stamp had to be new age type as this is what the paper reminds me of lol. I think I went a little overboard on the glitter and the hand drawn stars around the image hehehe. I stamped my Autumn Leaves Flourishes stamp onto one of my flowers because I love this look. I guess that is about it for tonight. I have to get to bed at a decent hour because I am looking after my little grandaughter tomorrow. I usually stay up later so I can comment on all the lovelies you girls create from US and England as you are different time zones to me but I will have to make comments tomorrow ladies I apologise in advance for that.

365 Cards - #113 Super Sketchy Sunday

It is Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards today and below is the sketch we are to follow. . .

And this is my interpretation of the sketch. I really liked how it turned out.

I tried to use a rub-on directly onto the ribbon but I ruined it so decided to stamp straight onto it which I should have done in the first place. I used the Don Juan cartridge with my Cricut for the arrows and a Retro Flowers punch from EK Success. The markets today was a waste of time as we were rained out before a sale could be made. . .never mind I have stock for next time lol.

365 Cards - #112 Everlasting Love

I know I am late again today but I had to get ready for the markets again. Over at 365 Cards today the challenge was to make a wedding card and it had to include the word love on it. I chose to do a wedding card with a difference lol. I didn't want the normal wedding cards you see and I guess this one is REALLY different, however it does have the word love on it lol.

365 Cards - #111 Say It With Stripes

First things first - Over at 365 Cards today the challenge was to say it with stripes and we had to make a card using bold colours and stripes. This was the brightest stripes I had anywhere in my stash. . .sad but true!! It is a SU paper. The image is from my Cricut - Storybook cartridge as is the butterflies. The cardstock used in the image is Whisper White but I used Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick to colour the background oval and then spritzed it with water which is quite a cool effect. I also used Scattered Straw around the edges of the striped paper.

The sentiment is a little crooked but it was the last thing I did so I was not ditching it but it bugs me a lot that it is crooked lol. Not my normal type of card that I like to create but it is going to have to do today. I didn't do my card last night. . . too tired so I finished it off this morning.

This is my first Post It Organiser that I made but check the pen out. . . it matches!!!

These are the four I completed now. I really like the pink one lol. I should be making more for the markets tomorrow!! That's it until this afternoon. Please enjoy.

365 Cards - #110 My Guy

Today over at 365 Cards the challenge was to make a masculine card and use the Argyle pattern. I saw that I and I thought "BINGO" I have an embossing folder with the Argyle pattern I am set and so my card came together very easily after that. I did have a little trouble choosing a designer paper to suit my colours in cardstock but then I went to my DCWV Naturals stack and there it was just waiting for me to come along and pluck it out of the stack. . .the trendy trees and in just the colours I wanted. Don't you love it when a plan comes together!!! My stamped image is another one from my ancient stash but I have always loved it. I also have a moon emage that goes with this boat and when done as a scene it looks great but that is for another time perhaps.

Well cannot wait to check out what everyone else has done for their card for todays challenge. I am hitting the bed a little earlier tonight as I did not go to bed last night until 3.30am and then got up at 7.30am so my eyes are hanging out of my head lol. I will be focussing on putting a journal together tomorrow with lots of dividers, pockets, transparencies etc and other embellishments so I can have a sample ready for my market stall on Sunday to advertise jounal classes commencing. I have this huge idea in my head which I need to get out and put it to bed lol as it is consuming to much of my thoughts. I get so excited when I have a really good idea and cannot wait to put it together. Is anyone else like that? Okay I'm going now.

365 Cards - #109 Colour Scheme

The light is not good in my photos tonight so I apologise for that right up front. My fluro light started flickering so I turned it off until my husband can change it tomorrow as he is asleep now lol. And I only have my lamp on so I did the best I could with what I got lol.

So over at 365 Cards Pam set the challenge today as a colour challenge and your card had to include green, orange, yellow, brown and aqua and your card had to be feminine!! Crikey I almost had a fit (maybe it was the fluro flickering) all those colours and it had to be feminine. . .and the inspiration for this colour range came from the Cosmo Cricket "Mr Campy" paper range so what does that tell you. . .yep you guessed it a blokey type of range. So I really had to get the thinking cap on for this one I can tell you!! First I chose SU Kraft cardstock for the actual card and I really thought this is not helping it is leaning towards the blokey end. Then I chose Tangerine Tango (a fav of mine) and the yellow was from the Neutrals paper stack from DCWV. Once I had Cuttlebugged them both I could see where my card was going then and it all came together like magic hehe. This SU stamp set Fresh Cuts has to be my favourite stamp set it has so many uses. I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip and then I used my SU Stampin' Pastels to lightly sponge all the colours that we had to use throughout the image. I think it turned out just beautifully and I was really pleased with the outcome. What do you think?? The rest of the card speaks for itself but you can see what supplies I used at the end of this post under Supplies of course. I did sand the yellow DCWV embossed cardstock so the white core came through, I think it looks great.

This second image is a little brighter than the first one but not much. I could have done it tomorrow but if I don't get my card done at night I dream about what I am going to create until. . .like last night or early this morning (3.30am) I get up and make the jolly thing, so I had to get it made before I went to bed so I could rest properly! So that is it for me today.

Cuttlebug Paisley and Swiss Dots embossing folders.

365 Cards - #108 "Oh Boy"

Well we have to even out the sexes now don't we?? So today over at 365 Cards Pam set the challenge for a masculine card but not adult. So in other words a boys card!! Boy cards are not something that I do very much of and I have no and I mean no boy type designer paper. . . so I had better fix that very, very soon I think. My frog stamp I grabbed from my ancient stash so too the ants and fly stamps which were both from Hero Arts and the frog is Inkadinkado and the sentiment is Penny Black. Talk about mixing it up!!! I coloured the frog using my SU markers and then the blending pen but word of warning. . . . if you use the blending pen then please do your image on watercolour paper because the normal cardstock does not withstand the blending too well. But because it was 2am when I did this card (I went to bed at 9.30pm and because Sophia woke up I decided to stay up and do my card). I wasn't going to do a card today because as I said I don't do boy cards that much but when I slept on it I thought of this frog image and decided once I had seen some of the other entries I could manage to create something lol. So here is my card for today!

Today whilst checking my fav blogs I saw that Angie from Chic 'n' Scratch had a video tutorial on the post it note organiser and I liked it so much I decided to make one, but using my own choice of papers and cardstock which also just happened to be all Stampin' Up! of course! Here is the front of the organiser. . .
And here is the inside of the organiser. . .

You have two choices of post it notes, with room for a pen and on the left hand side you have a compartment for receipts or notes or whatever. I think it would make a very economical gift for someone don't you think? Why don't you pop on over to Angie's blog and take a look.

Well that is my work for this hour of the day. Later on today when it is normal people time lol I am going to get about half a dozen of the organisers made for my market stall this Sunday. I also have a lot of tutorials that I have purchased from other SU demonstrators that I want to make up for my stall. I think they will make wonderful gifts. So stay tuned for those little beauties when I get them made. You will like them so much you will want to make them yourself or purchase one from me lol!!!

Supplies for the Frog card: SU Kraft and Whisper White cardstock. DCWV designer paper and green cardstock. SU Deceased Wild Wasabi stamp pad, Basic Black stamp pad and SU Garden Green, Gable Green, Creamy Caramel and Ruby Red markers. The stamps I mentioned up above.

365 Cards - #107 - So Girly

Over at 365 Cards today the challenge is So Girly and specifically the word "Girl" must be somewhere on the card and to make the card very girly. . .bugger I just read that bit. My card is a little girly but not a lot *Oh big sigh*. I bought these funky girl rub-ons a while ago and have never used them thinking they would come in handy one day and today was the day. . .thanks Pam *grin*.
I used deceased SU Designer paper in Pumpkin Pie for the Retro flowers. I enjoyed making this card even if there was no stamping involved lol.

This photo was taken at the same time I took my challenge photo and my little grandaughter Sophie had just woken from her late afternoon nap. Look at her rosy cheeks, she is just so cute *sorry, I can't help it* Very proud grandmother. Tonight I am off to my other daughters house so I will see if I can catch the other two grandchildren before they go to bed so will need to take my camera. Soph is just walking into my craft room from my bedroom I am at my computer doing this post which is taking me forever lol cause I waffle ROTFL, that's when I took her pic.

365 Cards - #106

Today it is Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards and this was the sketch we had to follow.

My daughter Courtney, asked me if I could make a card for a friend who had just found out she was having another baby. So I decided to use the sketch from today with what my daughter wanted for her friend and above is the result. I chose lavender and lemon as the sex of the baby is not known yet. Once again I have used stamps on the oval from my ancient stash which this set was from Hero Arts. I am liking the Storybook cartridge from Cricut more and more each time I use it. It certainly got a workout while I was away with everyone wanting me to cut things and each one looked lovely.

Which reminds me here is a journal I made from scratch using my Bind-It-All etc and if you clink on Courtney's blog you will find the one she made from scratch on that weekend away. . .I just checked you only get to see the added extras for inside the journal hehehe. We both decided to make it grungy and the paper that we used for inside the journal was gifted to us from Shirley which belonged to her husband who was a Highschool Principal until his death a couple of years ago. It was foolscap and it felt sooooo so nice to touch, so smooth and creamy. Courtney and I are paper pervs lol.

I still want to add more inserts etc I really love making journals and I sell heaps of them at my market stall. I put acetate page dividers stamped with flourishes etc inside as well and all sorts of pockets for pics or other memorabilia. Each journal is different. Well that is it for me today so until tomorrow. . .

365 Cards - #105 Sing Along Saturday Plus 3 Other Challenges

Edited to add: This challenge also fits this weeks challenge #11 over at Paper Blooms and the challenge was to include three flowers and challenge # number 1 at Pile It On was to have a non stamped sentiment, mine is computer generated straight from my mind lol (Thanks Rose) so I thought I would add my card to those challenges as well.
I decided to jump on the band wagon and make a card with other challenges made to fit hehe. So, first and foremost is the challenge at 365 Cards which is a Sing Along Saturday - Rainbow Connection and we had to use that song as inspiration for our card. I chose not to do an actual rainbow but play on the pot at the end of the rainbow but in this case it is a cup and not with gold but roses!!! The next challenge was over at ABC Challenges and your card had to include. . . wait for it. . . YES ROSES! Check. The next challenge was over at Cute Card Thursday and the challenge was Quotations and my sentiment was a play on gold at the end of the rainbow, check! The last challenges was over at Card Patterns and I have tried and tried to load the sketch onto my post but the stupid 'Add Image' button has decided not to work for now. So pretend that you see the sketch for Card Patterns but if you look at my card it is spot on for the sketch. So all in all one card for four challenges but that does not come close to Maz who made one card for 12 challenges and Rose and I are in awe of that so Maz is the Challenge Queen!!!!

This was fun to do as well. . . trying to get the different challenges to marry up. I will be doing that again I think. Well that is all for me today so until Sunday which begins a whole new week over at 365 Cards so. . .

365 Cards - #104 Imagine This - GRASS & Cute Card Thursday - Punches

Today over at 365 Cards the challenge was Imagine This - "GRASS" or to be inspired by grass by using an image or just be inspired by an image. Also over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge was punches. So this is what I came up with. The green grass as the bottom of my card is another ancient roller that I have had for sooooo many years and finally it came in handy lol. The leaves and butterfly are from the Storybook Cricut cartridge. The flower punches are from EK Success and I cut strips of cardstock for the stems. I didn't get time to make my card last night as I usually do because by the time the party was over and we cleaned up I was too knackered to make a card but I certainly had it on my mind all night I can tell you, to the point where I had to get out of bed at 5.30am this morning to start on it. . . .sad isn't it? lol It has taken me this long because Soph was a little out of sorts this morning and wanted to be nursed (carried for the US girls not breast fed lol) so not a lot got done at first, but I finally got there. I said to Ash if you want to go on a picnic then I have to get into my craft room and get this card made so you take care of Soph and I'll go and create lol.

These next photos are of my grandaughter on the morning of her very first birthday which was yesterday. She is here in this photo with my husband after he had put her table and chairs together that we bought her which also included a tea set and toaster and two slices of bread hehehe. Look how impish she looks in this first pic hehe

There is no finesse about making a pot of tea for this little girl lol she just gets right into it. . .

Here is Poppa trying to show her how to make a pot of tea and she thinks "hehehehe I got Poppa to make it" lol the look on her face says it all doesn't it?

Well we are all going out for a picnic today so that is it for me until the next challenge.
In the meantime. . .

365 Cards - #103 Card Recipe

Day 103 over at 365 Cards and it is a card recipe today. My card had to be 5.5 x 4.25, have a solid background, had to have 2 x patterned papers, with a stamped sentiment and 3 x jewels. I had just finished making my little grandaughters 1st birthday card for tomorrow so I used what was left over lol. It's a very simplistic card and not sure if I like it but thems the brakes hey!! I didn't like my card for yesterday either hehe. It's really hard to explain I like cards with depth I think that's why I shade so much hehehe as it seems to give the card depth. Well I had better get going as it is a big day tomorrow with having to prepare all the party food for Soph's birthday. I will be sure to take some birthday shots. Which reminds me that I still haven't got my pics of last weekend from my daughter yet lol I will make her bring them with her tomorrow.

In the meantime. . .

365 Cards - # 102 Challenge Combo and The Pink Elephant Challenge #18

Today over at 365 Cards it is a Challenge Combo whereby you had to choose one from March, one from April and one from May. The challenges I choose are up to me but there had to one from each month. So I chose Day 31 from March - Rounding the Corners, Day 61 from April - 'Leaf' It Up To Me and Day 91 from May - Front and Centre where every element had to be in the centre of the card. I also managed to do the colour challenge over at The Pink Elephant where your card had to be pink, brown and white.

So I killed two cards with one stone hehehe. That's it for another day people.

365 Cards - #101 Fun With Food - Veggies

Finally, it's another day on 365 Cards and I know I have missed some days but I did have fun lol and I was making cards and journals etc while I was away.  Today over on 365 Cards the challenge was create a card with a veggie or two or three!!  I knew this was going to be an easy one for me because you all know I have an ancient stash from 17 years ago well in that stash there were these beautiful vegetable stamps from PSX and some from Hero Arts.  I have got a tomato, eggplant, corn, artichoke, radish, carrot and then there is the box of assorted veggies.  But my fav is the chilli or red pepper whichever you want to call it and of course the sentiment had to be "HOT STUFF" what else could it be hehehe.  Took me about 20 minutes to put this baby to bed lol.  The designer paper is of course my new stack of DCWV the recycled stack hehehe.  I finally bought some while I was away.  So I am going to bed as I am still getting over the drive and the restriction of having my knee in one spot for so long so I can't sit still for very long (thanks for your concern btw Rose).

So in the meantime. . . .

Blog Award

Hello there everyone.  I am finally home from my few days away doing my normal gypsy thing at my stamp camp.  I had the best time with lots of laughter and lots of creating, eating good food, teaching a journal class and learning heaps!!  It was a long drive for me, 6 1/2 hours each way and my knees were screaming at me by the time I got out of the car yesterday late in the afternoon or should I say I nearly fell out of the car lol.  When I was finally able to unpack all my stuff I checked my blog and found that the beautiful, talented Rose had given me an award for my blog. . .thankyou Rose, I very much appreciate it. Now there are rules attached to this award and they are:-

1. Thank the person who nominated you for this award.  I did that.
2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog. I did that.
3. Link to the person who nominated you for this award. I did that too lol.
4. Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting ok this is the tricky bit. . .
1. I am passionate about rubber stamping, creating and sharing what I know with others.
2. I would like to be part of a design team.
3. I would like my business to be a success.
4. I would love to meet Tim Holtz in person and attend Ranger U. (this is a serious dream of mine)
5. I would love to have the funds to get my online store off the ground today lol.
6. I wish my bloody knees would stop hurting!!!! *sheepish grin for swearing*
7. My sister is so talented in the corporate field (she is the Director of Gold Coast TAFE) and I wanted to be successful in that field as well and got to be a Branch Manager is the Disabilities field but realised that I am not happy unless I am creating.
5. Pass it on to 7 others - Another tricky bit so here is the thing.  If you think you are a creative blogger then please feel free to take this award.  Personally I think we are all talented in different ways. I raised my girls to think that no one is better than them and they are no better than anyone else and that is the way I live my life with everyone equal. (just a little bit more info about me lol).

I do have pics from my weekend away I just have to get them from my daughters camera and I will do another post.
In the meantime though. . .

365 Cards - #94 - Ad Inspired

EDITED on 03.06.2009 - Apparently my link for this challenge on 365 Cards takes you to SNR Card Universe. . . I truly don't know how that happened.  So I decided to enter my card for today again.  Sorry for the mishap everyone. . .and thanks Fi for letting me know about it *grins*

I have to get the important issues over first. . . A very sincere Happy Birthday Tammy for the 1st June and may your life get richer each year.

Todays challenge over at 365 Cards was to be inspired by an ad which had the colours on my card below and what I can see in the ad is that it is all about getting married??  Correct me if I am wrong please!  When I saw that black and white pic dead centre of the ad I knew which stamp set I was going to use and what designer paper lol. . . don't you love it when a plan comes together. . .go A Team (if anyone remembers it) hehehe  Geez I crack me up sometimes!!

I used  black cardstock from my ancient stash from years ago ( I am only going to say ancient stash from now on lol).  I used the lovely Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White from Stampin' Up! The stamp set is Friends 24-7 also from Stampin' Up! The designer paper, sentiment rub-on and the rhinestones are from Kaisercraft.  Oh also the ink which is Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black are from . . . yep you guessed it Stampin' Up!  This card came together rather quickly today which was a good thing.

                     ..................................................................................................

I would also like to mention that I got two awards in the last couple of weeks one was from the beautiful Maz and Shari and the other one was from Tommi from Oh My Gluestick.  I will add my 10 things about me tomorrow on my post as I will have to think about it but if you look at Maz's list, well you would think it was written about me lol and I told Maz that too!!  That is it for me tonight. . .oh one more thing though, why don't you hop on over to SNR Card Universe and join the 365 Cards group that Pam has started.  I have been a member for a while so you will need to join up if you are not a member already.  There's heaps of learning resources there as well which I really like.  So why not come and join Pam and I.
In the meantime though. . .
